Terms and Conditions

Special Teams University (STU)

Effective Date: October 14, 2026

1. General Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases, registrations, and participation in programs, products, and services offered by Special Teams University (“STU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through specialteamsu.com and other authorized purchasing channels.

By completing a purchase, enrollment, or registration, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions and our Refund and Cancellation Policy, subject to applicable law.

If an athlete is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete the purchase and accept financial responsibility for the agreement.

2. Virtual Training Programs

Program Duration and Financial Commitment

STU offers Virtual Training Programs with fixed commitments of six (6) or twelve (12) months.

Current program pricing:

    • Six-Month Virtual Training: $275 per month for six months, totaling $1,650.
    • Twelve-Month Virtual Training: $250 per month for twelve months, totaling $3,000.

Enrollment constitutes a commitment to the full duration and total cost of the selected training program.

Monthly payments are installments toward the total program cost, not payments for a month-to-month membership that may be canceled at any time without further financial obligation.

The applicable program price, total financial commitment, and payment schedule will be disclosed at checkout.

Payment Obligations

By enrolling, the purchaser agrees to complete all scheduled payments associated with the selected training program.

Choosing to discontinue participation, failing to submit training footage, missing scheduled meetings, or otherwise declining to utilize available services does not automatically terminate the agreement or eliminate remaining financial obligations.

Purchasers remain responsible for valid outstanding payments unless STU approves an alternative arrangement in writing or cancellation is required by applicable law.

Program Completion and Renewal

Upon completion of the selected six-month or twelve-month payment term, scheduled installment payments automatically end.

Training programs do not automatically renew.

Continued participation after completing a program requires a new enrollment and acceptance of the applicable program terms and pricing.

Early Termination

Requests to terminate participation before completing the agreed-upon program term must be submitted in writing to STU.

STU understands that circumstances can change and may evaluate requests for early termination individually.

At its discretion, STU may approve accommodations, modify payment obligations, or release a purchaser from remaining payments.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, previously completed installment payments are nonrefundable, and valid remaining contractual obligations remain payable.

Failed or Discontinued Payments

Removing a payment method, canceling automatic payments through a payment provider, or discontinuing participation does not, by itself, terminate the underlying training agreement or discharge valid outstanding payment obligations.

STU reserves the right to suspend future training services when accounts become delinquent and pursue lawful remedies for unpaid contractual balances.

Purchasers retain all applicable rights to revoke automatic payment authorization and exercise legally protected cancellation rights. Revocation of payment authorization does not authorize STU to continue charging a payment method without valid authorization.

3. Injuries, Medical Leave, and Training Accommodations

STU recognizes that injuries, medical conditions, and unforeseen circumstances may temporarily prevent athletes from participating in training.

Requests for temporary training pauses or other accommodations will be evaluated individually.

Temporary Training Suspension

At STU’s discretion, an athlete experiencing an injury or medical limitation may receive approval to temporarily suspend training services.

During an approved training suspension:

    • The athlete’s remaining unused training services will be preserved.
    • Scheduled monthly installment payments will continue according to the original financial agreement unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
    • When the athlete is medically able to resume participation, the remaining preserved training services will become available without additional charges for those services.

A temporary training suspension does not automatically terminate the agreement or eliminate remaining financial obligations.

STU may approve exceptions, payment modifications, or alternative arrangements on a case-by-case basis, subject to applicable law.

4. Private Training

Reservations and Deposits

Private training appointments with STU require a $600 reservation deposit to secure scheduled training dates and times.

The deposit is applied toward the total cost of the reserved training.

Standard private training sessions with Kyle Stelter in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, are currently $600 per session, unless otherwise specified at booking.

Because private training appointments require dedicated coaching time and prevent STU from accepting other athletes during reserved hours, the following cancellation and rescheduling terms apply.

Complete Cancellation

If an athlete or purchaser elects to cancel a private training reservation entirely rather than reschedule, the $600 deposit is nonrefundable, regardless of advance notice, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Rescheduling Policy

Athletes wishing to reschedule their private training appointments may apply their deposit toward a future appointment under the following conditions:

    • 14 or more days before training: Rescheduling is permitted without penalty. The full $600 deposit transfers to the rescheduled appointment.
    • 7–13 days before training: A $300 rescheduling fee applies. The remaining $300 deposit balance transfers toward future private training.
    • Less than 7 days before training: The full $600 deposit is forfeited. A new deposit is required to secure another appointment.
    • No-show: Failure to attend a scheduled training appointment without notice results in forfeiture of the full $600 deposit.

For athletes reserving multiple sessions or training days, the cancellation window is calculated from the first scheduled training appointment.

All rescheduled appointments are subject to availability.

Exceptional Circumstances

STU recognizes that injuries, medical emergencies, unexpected travel disruptions, and other circumstances may affect an athlete’s ability to attend.

Requests for exceptions will be evaluated individually.

STU reserves the right to waive or modify cancellation and rescheduling fees at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

Cancellation by STU

If STU cancels a scheduled private training appointment, the purchaser may reschedule without penalty or receive a refund of payments for the canceled, undelivered training services.

5. Pro Prep Camp and Combine Training

Registration and Payment Policy

All registrations for STU Pro Prep Camp and Combine Training are final and nonrefundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

By registering and submitting payment, the purchaser acknowledges the event registration cost and agrees to the applicable cancellation and training-credit conditions.

Cancellation and Nonattendance

If an athlete is unable to attend their registered event because of an injury, illness, scheduling conflict, travel issue, personal circumstances, or another reason, the registration fee will not be refunded except where required by law.

Instead, the athlete may apply the amount previously paid toward one of the following alternatives.

Option 1: Future STU Camp or Training Event

The athlete may apply the full amount paid toward registration for a future eligible STU camp or training event.

If the replacement event costs more than the available credit, the purchaser is responsible for the difference.

Any remaining credit balance will be preserved for future eligible training.

Option 2: Private Training in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

The athlete may apply the full amount paid toward private long snapping instruction with Kyle Stelter in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Training credits are applied dollar-for-dollar toward private training at the rates in effect when appointments are scheduled.

The number of sessions available depends on the athlete’s credit balance and the applicable private training rates.

Credits may be used across multiple appointments until the available balance is exhausted.

Any unused balance remains available toward future eligible STU training.

Travel, lodging, and related expenses are the responsibility of the athlete or purchaser.

Applying Camp Credits Toward Private Training Deposits

Athletes transferring their Pro Prep Camp or Combine Training registration payments toward private training may use their available training credits to satisfy the required $600 private training reservation deposit.

No additional deposit is required when the athlete has at least $600 in available training credit.

Once the private training appointment has been scheduled and confirmed, the appointment becomes subject to the Private Training Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy outlined in Section 4.

Applicable cancellation or rescheduling fees may be deducted from the athlete’s available training credit.

Any remaining eligible credit will be preserved for future training.

Credit Conditions

    • Credits are valid only for the originally registered athlete.
    • Credits cannot be transferred, sold, or assigned to another individual.
    • Credits do not expire while STU continues offering eligible training programs, subject to applicable law.
    • Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded except where required by law.
    • Credits may not be used more than once or beyond the available balance.

Event Changes or Cancellation by STU

STU reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to event locations, schedules, instructors, and programming when necessary.

If STU cancels an event, affected registrants will receive a refund or alternative remedy in accordance with applicable law.

6. One-Time Film Evaluations

STU One-Time Film Evaluations provide individualized analysis and technical feedback based on footage submitted by the athlete.

All One-Time Film Evaluation purchases are final and nonrefundable, except where required by applicable law or when STU fails to provide the purchased service.

Customers are responsible for providing usable footage and any information reasonably necessary to complete the evaluation.

Failure to submit footage, delayed submissions, or a decision not to utilize the service does not automatically entitle the purchaser to a refund.

STU may request additional footage or information when necessary to complete the evaluation.

7. Merchandise Purchases

All merchandise sales are final, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

STU does not accept standard returns or exchanges for merchandise due to:

    • Incorrect sizing selected by the purchaser.
    • Changes of mind.
    • Personal preferences.
    • Unwanted merchandise.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Customers who receive damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise should contact STU promptly with their order information and photographs of the issue.

STU will review the circumstances and provide an appropriate replacement, correction, refund, or other remedy in accordance with applicable law.

Return Shipping

When a return is approved for reasons other than STU’s error or a legally required remedy, the purchaser is responsible for return shipping expenses.

Customers will not be required to cover return shipping where doing so would violate applicable law.

8. Scheduling and Availability

Private lessons, virtual coaching meetings, camps, and other training services are subject to scheduling and availability.

Athletes are responsible for attending scheduled appointments and communicating scheduling conflicts promptly.

STU may adjust schedules when reasonably necessary and will communicate significant changes to affected participants.

9. Athlete Responsibilities and Training Outcomes

STU provides individualized coaching, technical instruction, and opportunities for athletic development.

Athletes are responsible for their preparation, participation, effort, and application of coaching instruction.

STU does not guarantee:

    • College scholarships or recruiting offers.
    • College roster positions or playing time.
    • Invitations to professional workouts or camps.
    • Professional contracts or employment.
    • Any specific athletic performance outcome.

Individual results depend on numerous factors beyond STU’s control.

Physical Activity and Athletic Risk

Participation in football training and other physical activities involves inherent risks, including the possibility of injury.

Athletes are responsible for communicating relevant limitations and following appropriate medical guidance.

Any separate participation waiver or informed consent agreement required for an STU event or training service remains applicable to the extent permitted by law.

10. Communications and Requests

All requests involving cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, payment arrangements, and training credits must be submitted in writing to:

coachstelter@specialteamsu.com

Requests should include the athlete’s name, relevant purchase or registration information, and an explanation of the circumstances.

STU will review applicable requests and communicate its decision or available options.

Any approved exception, credit adjustment, or modification to a financial agreement must be confirmed in writing.

11. Refund and Cancellation Policy

These Terms and Conditions should be read together with the STU Refund and Cancellation Policy, which provides additional information about purchases, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.

If the policies conflict, applicable law governs, and STU will interpret the policies consistently with the specific terms disclosed and accepted at purchase.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

STU may update these Terms and Conditions periodically.

Updated terms will be published on specialteamsu.com with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retroactively modify the material financial terms of an existing fixed-term agreement without any consent required by applicable law.

13. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are subject to applicable federal and state laws, including nonwaivable consumer protection and cancellation rights.

If any provision is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

14. Agreement and Acknowledgment

By completing a purchase, enrollment, or registration, the purchaser acknowledges that they have been provided the opportunity to review the applicable program details, payment commitments, cancellation conditions, Terms and Conditions, and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Purchasers agree to the applicable terms through the acknowledgment process provided at checkout, subject to applicable law.
