The World's Elite Long Snapping Coach
I was taught the basic skills of long snapping my senior year of high school to help my chances of making a college team. I played offensive line my entire life and was too undersized to continue playing that at the next level. My high school football coach gave me enough coaching at the long snapping position to be able to make the team as a long snapper and linebacker at the University of Wisconsin Stout where I stayed for a year. After that, I transferred to the University of Wisconsin River Falls to finish my college career as a pure long snapper.

I followed my dream of becoming a Professional long snapper playing Semi Pro football for 3 years after college. In 2012 I was rated the #1 Five Star NFL Free Agent long snapper in the Nation! Later in 2012 I was signed by the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League. Over 300 players attended tryouts and I was the ONLY player signed from that opportunity. I went on to beat out a former NFL long snapper for the job.
In 2014 I was brought in for a tryout with the New York Jets where I competed against snappers from Colorado State, Florida State, and Rutgers. Later on I was brought back in for Rookie Mini Camp. After Mini Camp with the New York Jets, I decided to hang up my cleats and pursue coaching. Coaching long snappers is a passion of mine and I want to be able to help as many as I can pursue their dreams and make it further than I ever did.

I started Special Teams University out of necessity. I’ve watched too many high school and even college teams struggle at long snapping position. Every other position on a team has a coach except the long snapper. My goal is to help as many athletes as I can perfect their skill and make it to the next level, whether that is high school, college, or professional.
